Alzheimer's Caregiver Support Group

| Caring for someone with memory loss? Alzheimer’s Association caregiver support groups provide a consistent and caring place for people to learn, share and gain emotional support from others who are also on a unique journey of providing care to a person with dementia. A free information and support group for care partners, family members and friends of individuals with dementia will be held the 2nd Wednesday of each month at the Edmonds United Methodist Church, Room 113, 828 Caspers St., Edmonds, WA 98020, 10:00 – 11:30 am. All That Blooms & Japanese Textiles

| Biennial Japanese Quilt Exhibit features two unique exhibits with Guest Curator, Miwako Kimura. “All That Blooms” is an exhibit focusing on the quilt makers’ use of blossoms, flowers, plants and other nature to create quilts. “Japanese Textiles” is an exhibition of textiles showcasing the vast variety of colors, textures, and the process of dyeing, weaving and design. Skagit Watershed Letterbox Trail

| Explore the natural wonders of Skagit County through letterboxing. Local conservation organizations have partnered to hide 16 letterboxes all along the Skagit River Watershed, from the North Cascades National Park in the east to Washington Park in the west! Each box contains fun educational materials about the watershed, along with a notebook and ink-stamp for trading stamps. Clues available at Skagit County public libraries and www.skagitwater.org. |
