Countrywide Home Loans has appointed Sharol L. Manzanares as branch manager of its Everett office. She has 18 years of experience in mortgage banking in Snohomish County. Before the appointment, she had been associated with Countrywide as a Senior Home Loan Consultant.

Cari Foster of Arlington and Loree Anne VanPatten of Marysville are new agents at the Everett office of Country Companies Insurance.

Steven Frankel, the former Chairman of Datamarine International of Mountlake Terrace, has resigned as a member of the company’s board of directors.

Kelly Hill has been named to the new post of Director of Business Development at Lang Manufacturing of Everett, and Rob Ward has been appointed Western Regional Manager of Business Development.

Scott Matthewson has joined the D.A. Davidson & Co. office in Everett as a Senior Financial Consultant.

Carol Wilber-Edwards has been named Vice President and Relationship Manager for KeyBank’s business banking division in Everett.

Beckie Mizell was named Employee of the Quarter for the second and third quarters of 2000 at Western Facilities Supply of Everett. Mary Fahrenkopf received the award for the first quarter of last year.

Jim Jordan has been selected to lead the new Environmental Services Department at Perteet Engineering Inc. He will be responsible for management and preparation of project environmental documentation such as impact statements, project permitting and resource management plans.

Steve Wolfe and Jeanell M. Strieck have joined Windermere Real Estate’s Lake Stevens office as sales associates; Randy Faidley has joined Windermere’s Monroe office; Todd F. Remme has joined the Everett office; and Lisa Murphy and Jennifer Freerks are new sales associates at the Mukilteo office.

Debbie McLeod has been named Executive Vice President and Retail Banking Executive for Cascade Bank. She replaces Bob Disotell, who is now the bank’s Chief Credit Officer. LeAnne Frank has been appointed to the post of Executive Vice President and Quality of Service and Technology Executive for Cascade.

William C. Lawrence is the new Community Director overseeing operations at Arbor Place at Silver Lake, an assisted-living community at 12806 Bothell-Everett Highway.

David Anderson, an engineer at Providence Everett Medical Center, has received building operator certification from the Northwest Energy Efficiency Council.

David Thielen, Principal; Julio Vela, Senior Engineer; Martin Powers, Senior Engineer; Mary Hubbard, Senior Staff Scientist; Ken Reid, Staff Geologist; Daniell Giroux, Staff Scientist; Jennifer Parsons, Assistant Geologist; and Alexandra Garner, Marketing Coordinator, have joined Landau Associates, an Edmonds-based environmental engineering firm.
