Wine-tasting fund raiser — April 16
The Everett-Port Gardner Rotary Club is sponsoring a wine-tasting event on April 16 to raise funds for the Center for Battered Women and the Washington Special Olympics. The fund raiser, which will take place from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Everett Station, 3201 Smith St., will feature 12 Washington wineries, hors d’oeuvres as well as a silent auction.

Technology Alliance event — May 10
The Technology Alliance, a consortium of business and community leaders dedicated to Washington’s economic success, will hold its annual State of Technology luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. May 10 at the Westin Hotel in Seattle. This year’s luncheon will feature a keynote address by Nathan Myhrvold, co-founder and managing director of Intellectual Ventures.

Women on the Move conference
— May 19

Women on the Move, the Everett Area Chamber of Commerce’s annual women’s conference, will be May 19 at the Everett Events Center’s Conference Center.

Tickets are available at the chamber office, 425-257-3222, with $5 off the regular $75 charge for those who register before April 15. Display booths are available for $275 for chamber members and $375 for nonmembers.
