Wanted: information on area business women groups

The Snohomish County Business Journal’s Business Women special issue is fast approaching. The issue, to be published in May, will spotlight women from around the county in a variety of professional fields and small-business endeavors.

Along with that, the journal would like to include a listing of area professional organizations aimed at supporting women in business through their offerings of networking opportunities, training and continuing-education programs. If you know of such groups operating in the Puget Sound area, let us know about them, including:

• The name of the organization.
• Meeting time and place.
• Cost for membership and/or event admission.
• Membership requirements.
• The organization’s mission: whom it serves and its purpose.
• Contact name(s) and phone numbers and/or e-mail addresses.
• The organization’s Web address.
