Health Savings Accounts seminar — April 4

Naval Station Everett Luncheon — April 5
The Everett Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its State of the Base: Naval Station Everett Luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. April 5 at The Commons at Naval Station Everett, 2000 W. Marine View Drive. During the luncheon, Capt. Eddie Gardiner will present the 2006 State of the Base address, and the chamber will help celebrate A Dozen Years of Dedication, marking the 12th anniversary of the opening of Naval Station Everett. The chamber will present Profiles of Service Awards to 12 military and civilian representatives from the base. Zonta Club breakfast meeting — April 6
The Zonta Club of Everett will hold a breakfast meeting at 7:30 a.m. April 6 at the Everett Golf & Country Club, 1500 52nd St. SE, in Everett. Media relations workshop — April 7
A media relations workshop, “How to Optimize Your Media Relations Efforts and Achieve Maximum Results with Little Money,” will be held from 7 to 9 a.m. April 7 in the North Star Dining Room at North Seattle Community College. Business women group meeting — April 11
The Ke-Harbor Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association will hold a networking and dinner program beginning at 6:30 p.m. April 11 at Country Inn & Suites, 19333 North Creek Parkway, in Bothell. Earl C. Johnson, a survivor of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York, will be the featured speaker. The Greater Lake Stevens Chamber of Commerce has added another networking opportunity to its monthly calendar, with “Good Morning, Lake Stevens” set for the last Tuesday of each month at 7 a.m. at the Lake Stevens School District Administration Building. This will be a roundtable networking breakfast designed exclusively for networking and promoting attendees’ business. State Technology Summit — April 28
The 2006 Washington State Technology Summit will be held from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 28 at the Microsoft Conference Center in Redmond. March of Dimes WalkAmerica — May 6
The March of Dimes WalkAmerica fund-raiser will be held May 6 in Everett to help the March of Dimes fight prematurity, a growing crisis that now affects half a million babies born in the United States every year and more than 8,200 babies in Washington state. The Snohomish County WalkAmerica, being held at American Legion Memorial Park, will include after-Walk fun, with food, a reptile petting zoo, face painting, pink and blue hair dying, massages and a special appearance by Webby, the AquaSox mascot Event registration begins at 7:30 a.m., with an official start time of 8:30 a.m. Providence Everett Medical Center is a major sponsor.
