Puget Sound Center a Workforce Investment Act eligible training provider
The Washington state Workforce Training and Education Coordinating Board has licensed Bothell-based Puget Sound Center as a private vocational school. In addition, PSC has received approval to be a Workforce Investment Act eligible training provider for King and Snohomish counties, enabling low-income and dislocated workers to receive federal financial assistance for PSC classes.

These programs have been approved by the Workforce Training and Education Coordinating Board: Oracle DBA, Cisco CCNA, Office applications, 3d Studio Max, Web certificates, XML certificate, .NET certificate, programming languages, biotechnology, IT program, and project management, management and supervision.

Evening software courses
offered in August

AHA Computer Solutions Inc. of Everett has three software classes scheduled for August. They are:

  • PowerPoint, Level II, from 7 to 9 p.m. Aug. 13-15.
  • Microsoft Access, Level I, from 7 to 9 p.m. Aug. 6-8.
  • Microsoft Access, Level II, from 7 to 9 p.m. Aug 20-22.

Each course costs $120. For those who want to take more than one class, AHA offers its Easy Pay Plan, which allows students to make smaller monthly payments.
