AEROSPACE
Jim Smith has joined Pacific AeroSport LLC of Arlington to head
up the marketing and sales of the Symphony Aircraft, a German-built, two-passenger
plane. Smith, a certified flight instructor and advanced ground instructor,
will coordinate all marketing, tradeshow production and public relations
for the company, as well as direct all sales efforts.
ENGINEERING
Raymond Miller and Rick Foxworthy have been promoted to
principals of ESM Consulting Engineers. Miller serves as general manager
for the Bothell office. He is the lead civil project manager for the MountainStar
UGA and master-planned resort, Town Center and Phase 3 Community, Providence
Medical Center expansion and The Highlands sewer replacement. Foxworthy
is director of survey services in Bothell. Recent projects include Alderwood
Mall renovation, city of Mukilteo pedestrian bypass bridges and the Methow
Valley Salmon Recovery project.
ENVIRONMENTAL
Garrett Jackson, an Edmonds project manager with Hart Crowser,
has been promoted to associate geomorphologist. Jackson has 13 years of
experience in the field of geomorphology, specializing in watershed analysis
and stream restoration to enhance salmon habitat. He is also manager of
Hart Crowser’s sediment sampling program.
Oliver Grah
has joined Everett-based Shockey/Brent Inc. as its wetland/environmental
scientist. Grah, who holds a master’s in watershed science from Utah State
University, has more than 20 years of experience in the field.
FINANCIAL
Jerry Dean, Dennis Rook, Terri Stefnik, Bill Weiland, Linda Wells,
Michele Bye and Christine Eisses recently were promoted to
new positions with Everett-based Frontier Bank. Dean is a new senior vice
president of the bank’s real estate department. He has 38 years of banking
and mortgage experience. Rook, with 30 years of banking experience, was
promoted to senior vice president of credit administration. Stefnik, former
winner of Frontier’s Superbanker of the Month award, will serve as vice
president of the Edmonds office. Weiland is enrolled in the Pacific Coast
Banking School at the University of Washington, and has joined the Everett
office as assistant vice president. Wells, who has 22 years of banking
experience, has been promoted to new account officer at Frontier’s main
office. Bye, who has been with Frontier since 1992, has been promoted
to vice president at the bank’s main office. Eisses, who joined Frontier
in 2002, having previously worked for Skagit State Bank, has been promoted
to assistant vice president of the compliance department.
Holly Oakley
has joined Wells Fargo as a business banker at its Everett main financial-services
branch. Oakley worked 17 years for U.S. Bank, and her career has included
positions in business credit analysis, customer service management and
operations.
Don P. Kiser
has been appointed senior vice president/chief financial officer of Prime
Pacific Bank of Lynnwood. Prior to his appointment, Kiser worked at Cowlitz
Bank in Longview, where he helped improve operational controls and procedures.
He has more than 30 years of experience in the banking industry.
Eric Cumley
of Edward Jones in Everett recently was selected as a field trainer, a
new position created for those investment representatives who voluntarily
give of their time and energy to help their new colleagues succeed. As
a field trainer, Cumley receives certification through training sessions
and testing.
Mary Basili, an
Edward Jones investment representative in Everett, was one of 35 of the
firm’s representatives honored for business management skills at a recent
company forum in St. Louis, Mo.
Brent Raffetto
was recently named director of mortgage lending for Washington Credit
Union in Mountlake Terrace.
Robert Lambert
has joined the Smokey Point branch of Whidbey Island Bank as a real
estate loan officer and will be responsible for administering loans in
northern Snohomish County.
Darlene Corcoran
and Jerry Goos have been promoted to new positions with Cascade
Bank in Everett. Corcoran will serve as Cascade Bank’s senior vice president
of branch operations, bringing more than 35 years of banking experience
to the position. Goos, formerly a credit administration manager with Cascade,
was promoted to senior vice president. Also, Nancy Marson has been
appointed business banker and vice president with Cascade. She has 30
years of experience, including positions as a credit underwriter, special
assets officer and commercial loan officer.
HEALTH CARE
Dr. Russell Loges has joined Back to Action Chiropractic Center
of Mountlake Terrace as an associate doctor. He will be holding an open
house Aug. 2 for new patients.
Cynthia Scanlon
has joined The Everett Clinic as manager of marketing and communications.
She most recently was with the University of Washington, Bothell, as director
of marketing and communications.
Zandra Mills,
an athletic trainer, has joined Murphy’s Corner Physical Therapy, a part
of Integrated Rehabilitation Group. Mills, a graduate of Washington State
University, focused her studies in kinesiology and athletic training.
HOSPITALITY
Lombardi’s Cucina, with restaurants in Ballard, Issaquah and Everett,
recently appointed Thomas Rhyneer as its new corporate chef and
chef of Lombardi’s Cucina of Everett.
Eric Blankenship
has been hired by Global Spectrum to be director of marketing and
sales for the new Everett Events Center. Blankenship previously worked
in the marketing department in the First Union Center in Philadelphia,
where he handled sports and event marketing. Also, Adam Gesacion
has been hired as director of group sales. In his new position, he will
plan, organize and execute all group events taking place at the center.
INSURANCE
David Williams has joined Allstate as regional marketing manager
for the Northwest region. He has more than 15 years of experience in the
insurance industry.
NONPROFITS
The Greater Everett Community Foundation has hired Dave Osmer as
its new executive director. He replaces Robyn Johnson, the organization’s
first executive director. Osmer has more than 30 years of experience in
community work, most recently as the executive director of Big Brothers
Big Sisters of King and Pierce Counties.
REAL ESTATE
Todd Wilbur has joined Windermere Real Estate’s Mukilteo office
as a sales associate. Wilbur previously was an account executive with
Infinity Broadcasting in Seattle.
VETERINARY
Veterinary surgeon Dr. Mark Davis has joined Pet’s Choice’s Animal
Emergency and Referral Center in Lynnwood.
