American Society of Women Accountants — Seattle Chapter
The Seattle Chapter of the American Society of Woman Accountants holds dinner meetings on the fourth Wednesday of each month except November (the third Wednesday) and December (no meeting scheduled) at the College Club, 505 Madison St., in Seattle. Members have the opportunity to network during meetings, with a social hour beginning at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. and a scheduled program at 7:30 p.m. The cost of dinner meetings is $25 for members and $27 for guests.

The annual membership fee is $137 and includes national contacts for networking and professional information, opportunities for continuing professional education, regular newsletters, community service opportunities and access to a job bank.

Association for Women in Computing — Puget Sound Chapter
The Puget Sound Chapter of the Association for Women in Computing is dedicated to promoting awareness of issues women face in the computing industry, advancing the professional development of women in computing and encouraging women to enter the computing field.

The group is open to both men and women, with members meeting at 6 p.m. one Tuesday each month except July, August and December for networking, dinner and a presentation at the Lake Union Cafe, 3119 Eastlake Ave., in Seattle. Cost is $20 for members and students, $35 for nonmembers (subtract $10 for program only — no dinner).

Annual membership dues are $65, with a special rate of $30 for full-time students and for those who are unemployed.

Greater Everett Business and Professional Women
Greater Everett Business and Professional Women, formerly the Greater Port Gardner Bay Business and Professional Women, is part of a national organization that works to address women’s issues in the workplace as well as offering opportunities for networking.

Meetings are held from September through May on the fourth Friday of each month downstairs at the Flying Pig restaurant, 2929 Colby Ave., in Everett. Members and guests arrive at about 5:45 p.m. to order their dinner. Meetings consist of networking, dinner, a business meeting and a speaker.

Also, activities are planned for the summer.

Annual dues are $96.

Soroptimist International of Sno-King
A 501(c)(3) corporation, Soroptimist International of Sno-King is committed to “making a difference for women,” providing funds for Edmonds Community College award programs, infant layettes for families with need, cancer awareness outreach materials for Stevens Healthcare and “Love Shouldn’t Hurt” domestic violence resource brochures for Snohomish County. The group is part of Soroptimist International of the Americas.

Members meet the first and third Thursday of each month from noon to 1 p.m. at the Red Lobster in Lynnwood, 4231 196th St. SW.

White Dove Networking
White Dove Networking is a new member network devoted to women in business, with meetings held the second Tuesday and Thursday of each month from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. for networking and dinner. There is a $10 dues collection to cover the costs of food and overhead, $5 for guests.

Additionally, White Dove, which currently has two chapters, one in Las Vegas and one in Seattle, supports charities assisting women and children in need.

Women Business Owners
Women Business Owners’ mission is to help women-owned businesses succeed by educating members in business development, building a supportive membership community and providing information, resources and referrals through a network of members, guests and speakers.

WBO meets the fourth Thursday of each month, January through October, and the third Thursday of November (there is no meeting in December) at the Washington Athletic Club in downtown Seattle from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Annual dues are $155 for regular members (women who have at least 50 percent ownership in a business, either as a sole proprietor, partner or corporate shareholder) and $195 for associate members (men and women who support the growth and development of a strong women-owned business community).

Zonta Club of Everett
The Zonta Club of Everett is part of Zonta International, a worldwide service organization of executives in business and the professions working together to advance the status of women.

The local club, established in 1929, holds its business meeting at 7:30 a.m. on the first Thursday of the month, with its program meeting held at noon on the third Thursday of the month at the Everett Golf & Country Club, 1500 52nd SE, in Everett.
