EverTrust Financial Group Inc. has hired Bellinda Oosterwyk as its new marketing manager and Ben Day as a market research analyst. Oosterwyk will be responsible for customer communications and marketing action plans. Day will coordinate the development, interpretation and application of customer information for strategic initiatives and work with database marketing capabilities.

John Hinson, Chief Operating Officer of Quinton Instrument Co., has been named president. Board Chairman Ruediger Naumann-Etienne will assume the additional role of Chief Executive Officer. They assume duties held by Michael Blomeyer, who recently resigned. Quinton makes equipment to diagnose and treat heart disease.

The Everett Area Chamber of Commerce recently chose Carol Bradford to be its new vice president. She replaces Jean Hales, who left in August to start her own business. Bradford will oversee the staff and the budget. Bradford, who lives in Everett, previously served as manager of the University of Phoenix Bellevue campus. She has a master’s degree in organizational development and a bachelor’s degree in criminology.

Gordon Kruckeberg has joined VisualGraphics, a graphics design firm in Mukilteo, as an account representative. He will be involved in establishing and maintaining new accounts.

The National Council for Staff, Program and Organizational Development recently awarded Edmonds Community College President Jack Oharah the Glenn Schmitz Award for his work in bringing professional development opportunities to community college staff and faculty.

New officers have been chosen for the Snohomish County Tourism Bureau Board of Directors. They are: Chair, Barbara Tolbert, Executive Director of the NWEAA Fly In, Arlington; Chair-elect, John Wilkins, Director of the Olympic Ballet Theatre, Edmonds; Treasurer, Bob Keller, General Manager of the Holiday Inn Hotel & Conference Center, Everett; Secretary, Darci Engen, General Manager of Stonebrook Inn & Suites, Mukilteo; and Past Chair, Georgia Borg Leon, General Manager of Residence Inn by Marriott, Lynnwood.

Diane Martin has joined the Herald Business Journal as an account executive. She will be responsible for advertising sales. Martin, a Marysville resident for the past 10 years, previously worked as the collection administrator for Overall Laundry. She has 10 years’ experience in collections and banking.

Vernon E. Ashbrenner has joined the Commercial Bank of Everett as a commercial loan officer and will be responsible for developing a commercial loan portfolio in Snohomish County.

Dr. Michael B. Stewart has joined Bothell-based biotech company ICOS Corp. as Vice President of Clinical Affairs. Stewart most recently was Vice President of Immunology, Inflammation, Pulmonary and Dermatology at Bristol-Myers Squibb.

Robert W. Jennings has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Regional Manager of Pacific Northwest Bancorp. He will be responsible for overseeing the 18 InterWest Bank branches.

Marc Rasmussen has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Eastern Regional Manager for Pacific Northwest Bancorp.

Charlie Cruikshank has been selected to lead Skotdal Real Estate’s commercial leasing activities.

Windermere Real Estate recently added 20 new associates to its Snohomish County offices. At the Mukilteo office, Pat Kauffman, Siggy Kuhr, Steve Kish, Doug de los Angeles, Valerie J. Johnson are new sales associates, and Lori Harrison has been hired as a licensed assistant. The Monroe office has added sales associates Tabitha Resch, Gary Kerr, Lisa Ferne, Greg James Ficker and Ron Geddes, and the Lake Stevens office has added sales associate Lisa Davis. The Mill Creek office has added sales associates Josette Goarin, Connie LaClair and Jennifer Carr. Luisa C. Cook and Sally Tritt-Collins have joined the Arlington office, and Jaynie Fitzgerald, Renee Graham and Brian Anthony Stambuk have joined the Lynnwood office as sales associates.

Elsie Covey of Snohomish will be an alternate delegate to the annual meeting of the American Angus Association.

Rhea Wallace has been named new account manager for Washington Manufacturing Services in Mukilteo.

Janet Roundy is an escrow closer with Stewart Title of Snohomish County in Lynnwood.

Jim Morris has been elected to the national board of directors of Junior Achievement Inc. He is Executive Vice President of Supplier Management for Boeing Commercial Airplanes Group.

James T. Johnson of Everett was recognized by the Washington State Bar Association for 50 years of practicing law.

Karen Vernon of Edmonds received a national Business and Professional Women Career Advancement Scholarship from the Business and Professional Women’s Foundation.

Kathryn Hopkins recently was named manager of Everett Mutual Bank’s Monroe office, and Cheryl Bosh was named manager of the North Creek branch.

Doug Davidson is Cascade Bank’s newest business banker and will work out of Cascade’s Mount Vernon branch.

Mike Petty is the new manager of Frontier Bank’s Edmonds office. He replaces Josephine Lloyd, who recently retired.
