SBDCs develop
evaluation tool

Herald Business Journal Staff

In the face of economic uncertainty, the Washington state network of Small Business Development Centers has launched a new management and planning tool for entrepreneurs: the “Business Survivor’s Checklist.”

The questionnaire, intended to help business owners identify areas of business that need the greatest attention, covers customer relationships, competition, industry trends, vendor arrangements, employees, finances and security. Management tips are included for each area.

The “Business Survivor’s Checklist” is available on the state SBDC’s Web site, www.wsbdc.org, or a copy can be requested by calling toll-free 866-723-2249.
