Louise Stanton-Masten
took the helm at the Everett Area Chamber of Commerce last month. She
left her own land-use and transportation consulting firm, Stanton-Masten
Associates, to replace Renee Radcliff, who resigned to take a full-time
position with an electronics industry trade group. The chamber position,
vacant since December, will give Stanton-Masten a chance to combine her
background in planning, economic development and governmental relations
with community service and “making this a more wonderful place to live,”
she said.
Jerry Thayer
of Everett-based Wilder Construction Co. has been selected as the new
President of the regional Board of Directors of the Northwest Environmental
Business Council, a five-state trade association for the Pacific Northwest
environmental industry.
John Fagan
of the Everett office of D.A. Davidson & Co. has been named to the firm’s
Chairman’s Council, and Jeff Decker has been named to the firm’s
President’s Club to recognize outstanding performance.
Michael A. Stein
has been appointed Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of ICOS
Corp., a Bothell biotechnology company with several prospective drugs
in development.
Mike Moore,
Manager of Century 21 North Homes Realty, Monroe Branch office, has completed
the International Management Academy course.
Kathy Kautz has
joined Frontier Bank’s Smokey Point office as Assistant Vice President
and Commercial Loan Officer.
Rhoda Kiely
has joined Stewart Title’s new Sno-King Region Sales Team as Account Executive.
Kiely will be focusing on north King County and east Snohomish County.
John W. Burkholder,
planning manager at Higa Engineering in Everett, has assumed an ownership
interest and joined founder W. Noel Higa as a partner in the company,
which has changed its name to Higa Burkholder Associates LLC. The company
provides a broad range of planning and engineering services.
Sales associate Shelly
O’Malley has joined Windermere Real Estate’s Mukilteo office, and
Dan Boland has joined the Lake Stevens office. Sales associate
Hazel Rengli has joined Windermere’s Snohomish office, and Claire
Eadie has joined the Edmonds office.
John Davies
has been named President of I-Pro Inc., EverTrust Financial Group Inc.’s
item-processing subsidiary. Before joining I-Pro, Davies was District
Sales Manager for Dynex Financial Inc.
Dan Rude, former
Deputy Director of the Washington State Transportation Improvement Board,
recently joined Perteet Engineering Inc. as Senior Project Manager in
the company’s South Puget Sound office in Lakewood. Perteet also has offices
in Everett and Snoqualmie.
Loan consultant Andy
Sawyer has joined Phoenix Savings Bank, and Kathie Cornett,
a loan consultant formerly of Phoenix’s Northgate branch, has joined the
Lynnwood team.
Russ Wilson,
a certified public accountant and managing partner of Moss Adams LLP,
which has an office in Everett, was re-elected to the firm’s executive
committee.
Sue DeMerchant
of CDG & Associates has earned the designation of certified payroll professional.
