Bus routes in place
to better serve students

SCBJ Staff

Everett Community College and Everett Transit recently agreed on changes to select bus routes to better accommodate the needs of EvCC riders, according to the college.

Beginning in February, Everett Transit will be offering earlier and later service on major corridors, including:

  • The new Route 9 Broadway-Evergreen Way, connecting EvCC to Everett Station every 30 minutes on weekdays. The north segment of the route will operate on Broadway from 5 a.m. until after 9 p.m. daily. The south segment of the route will operate from the Everett Station through downtown to Evergreen Way and Airport Road every 30 minutes from 5 a.m. until after 11 p.m. daily.
  • Route 6 North Colby will not be cut as much as was proposed, operating every thirty minutes, as it now does, during morning and afternoon commute times and every hour between 9 a.m. until just before 2 p.m.
  • Route 8, connecting the Everett Station to the Applied Technology Training Center every hour from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m.
  • Route 23, connecting Mukilteo with the college Monday through Friday. The route will provide service during commute times every half-hour from 6 to 9 a.m. and from 2 until just after 6 p.m.
