Wanted: information
on regional women’s
organizations

SCBJ Staff

The Snohomish County Business Journal’s next Business Women issue is just a few months away. The annual issue, to be published in May, will spotlight women from around the county in a variety of professional fields and business endeavors.

Articles on health and lifestyle issues as well as business resource information also are planned. To go along with all that, the journal would like to include a listing of area networking groups aimed at supporting women in business — groups that offer networking opportunities as well as training and continuing-education programs.

To create a complete listing, however, the journal needs your help. If you know of or participate in such a group in the Puget Sound area, let us know, including the following information:

  • The name of the organization.
  • Regular meeting time and place.
  • Cost for membership and/or event admission.
  • Membership requirements.
  • The organization’s mission: whom it serves and its purpose.
  • Contact name(s) and phone numbers and/or e-mail addresses.
  • The organization’s Web address.

E-mail information to hilden@heraldnet.com; mail to Snohomish County Business Journal, Attn: Women’s Networking Groups, Box 930, Everett, WA 98206; fax to 425-339-3049; or call 425-339-3104.

The deadline for the journal to receive the information is March 4. Your contribution will help make Business Women 2005 a true resource for business and professional women in Snohomish County.
