Good Morning, Snohomish
County! — Jan. 14
The Everett Area Chamber of Commerce and South Snohomish County Chamber
of Commerce have teamed up to hold Good Morning, Snohomish County! From
7:15 to 9 a.m. Jan. 14 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Lynnwood. The networking
breakfast will include display tables for marketing materials, and attendees
are invited to bring a door prize to promote their businesses. Cost of
the event is $18 for chamber members and $21 for nonmembers. For more

Accountants association
meeting — Jan. 26
The Seattle Chapter of the American Society of Women Accountants will
hold a dinner meeting at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 26 at the College Club of Seattle,
505 Madison St. The evening will begin with a social hour at 5:30 p.m.,
followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. and a speaker at 7:30 p.m. The program
will cover individual income-tax updates, or “How to Answer Those Pesky
Questions from Your Neighbor or Friend or Boss or Family.” Cost to attend
is $25 for members, $27 for guests, $17 for student members, $19 for student
guests and $3 for those having coffee only. For more information, contact

Bothell chamber
meeting — Jan. 27
The Greater Bothell Chamber of Commerce will hold its first general membership
meeting of 2005 from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Jan. 27 in the C.B. Blethen Room of
the Seattle Times building, 19200 120th Ave. NE, in Bothell. New members
can give a brief presentation on their business. There also will be networking
opportunities, event information pending issues and announcements. There

Edmonds Chamber
banquet — Jan. 28
The Greater Edmonds Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual banquet,
“Casino Night and Dance with the New Blues Brothers,” from 6 to 11 p.m.
Jan. 28 at the Harbor Square Athletic Club, 160 W. Dayton St., Edmonds.
Cost for the event is $35 for reservations and payment made by Jan. 17.

Snohomish Chamber
Social — Jan. 28
The Snohomish Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Chamber Social
to recognize 2004’s outstanding volunteers and community leaders Jan.
28 at the Waltz Building. A silent auction also will be held along with

Northwest Bridal
Showcase — Feb. 5 and 6
The Everett Events Center Conference Center is hosting the Northwest Bridal
Showcase 2005 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 5 and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb.
6. The event will include more than 70 local wedding professionals, a
fashion show, a premier gown sale and giveaways by vendors totaling more
than $7,000 worth of wedding gifts and services. Tickets will be available
each day at the event. Ticket prices are $10 at the door or $8 with a
$2 discount coupon available at any Bon-Macy’s registry department or
online at www.aandepromotions.com.
Computer forensics
lecture — Feb. 23
A free lecture, “Computer Forensics — What Your Computer Leaves Behind,”
will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Feb 23 in Triton Union Building 202
at Edmonds Community College, 20000 68th Ave. W., Lynnwood. Steve Hailey,
the president of CyberSecurity Institute, a company specializing in computer
forensics, will talk about the data trail computers leave behind and its
role in investigating identity theft, credit card fraud and child pornography.
Hailey also is a computer information systems instructor at EdCC. For
