EverTrust Financial
Group Inc. has completed its transformation by launching a Seattle investment
subsidiary called EverTrust Asset Management.
The Everett-based
company, which just a few years ago was focused on running its mutual
savings bank, is now a full-fledged financial services firm with a commercial
bank, a banking services company, a venture-capital firm and now an investment
company.
The asset management
firm, launched June 12, will be located in Seattle’s renovated Union Station
at 505 Fifth Ave., Suite 170.
Robert Kuehn, an
investment officer with more than 30 years of experience, is the new company’s
Managing Director. Other principals include James Gilchrist, Darcy Johnson,
Larry Kinner, Jeff Parker and Kevin McCandlish.
EverTrust, which
trades publicly under the symbol EVRT, also owns EverTrust Bank; I-Pro,
a Kent banking services company; and MB Cap, a Bothell start-up venture-capital
company.
