Dimensions Design Center remodels stores, expands line of fine art

Herald Business Journal Staff

Dimensions Design Center, a Bellevue-based mirror, fine-art and custom-framing business, has remodeled its Lynnwood and Bellevue stores, part of an aggressive market expansion plan by the company’s new owner, Duane Dahl.

Dahl, with corporate offices in Bothell, recently bought the 17-year-old firm and intends to grow the business with support from the region’s interior-design community, including the Seattle Design Center and vendors such as Seattle’s Larson Juhl, and DDC’s existing customer base.

Comprehensive remodeling of both stores included an expanded line of fine art, Dahl said, adding a few exclusive relationships with regional artists that will be announced soon, as well as adding more European masters’ works, including Chagall, Picasso, Dufy and Joan Miro.
