Workshop for service businesses
— July 25

The Women’s Network for Entrepreneurial Training is holding a presentation and discussion on “Building and Marketing Your Service Business” as part of its breakfast roundtable series. The event will be held from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Northwest Women’s Business Center, 728 134th St. SW, Suite 219, in Everett.

Attendees will learn to put a price on their businesses’ services, identify their potential customers and find ways to market what they offer. Cost to attend the event, which includes a continental breakfast, is $20 pre-registered and $25 at the door, with discounts given to members of WNET sponsors.

Management seminar — July 31
Learn how to implement the “10 People Principles of Empowerment” in your business during this July 31 seminar, part of the Business Resource Seminar Series offered by the Everett Area Chamber of Commerce and Everett Community College’s Continuing Education Department.

Registration begins at 8 a.m., with the seminar starting at 8:30 a.m. at the Applied Technology Training Center, 2333 Seaway Blvd., in Everett.

Cost for the four-hour seminar is $35 for chamber members and $50 for nonmembers.
