Real estate Web site markets homes
on the fairways

By John Wolcott

Golf homes have been popular for years, particularly in the scenic Pacific Northwest. Now, real estate agent Scott Gibbons has focused on marketing golf-course homes as a specialty for clients who want to experience fairway living.

An agent with ERA American Brokers in Renton, Gibbons has covered the Puget Sound area for the past 12 years, including spending a lot of time in marketing homes on golf courses.

Although he’s in King County, Gibbons said he spends much of his time in Snohomish County at eight golf-course communities where he has marketed homes.

He also has launched a new real estate Web site — www.nwgolfhomes.com — that represents Snohomish County through the Internet.

“I recently founded Northwest Golf Homes, the first service of its kind in the Northwest and perhaps even in the country,” Gibbons said. “America is fascinated with golf. Communities are formed around golf courses. I’m showing the homebuyer and seller what homes are available in golf-course communities.”

He estimates his golf-course home listings in numerous publications will reach 130,000 homebuyers and sellers each month, in addition to the global reach of his Internet site marketing.

“Homes will be marketed on a minimum of 10 different company Web sites,” he said. “Right now my re-designed Web site is nearly complete. It will be very user friendly, and the number of golf-course communities will be expanded dramatically.”

His entire golf-course homes network will cover Snohomish, King and Pierce counties.

More information is available from Gibbons at 425-241-0291 or through his Web site.
