Golf.com partners with Pitts to sell Herald Business Journal Staff “Lefty” golfers have new options for improving their play, including a new visual “mirror” device designed for left-handed golfers, thanks to an Everett Internet-based business, Left-Tee Golf.com LLC. President Mark Johnson said his company’s Web site — www.left-teegolf.com — is the Internet’s most comprehensive resource for left-handed golfers, representing an online community of more than 500 registered members worldwide and a network of more than 150 left-handed PGA professionals. His company has just signed an agreement to partner with Pitts Golf Co. to become a re-seller of the Mirror Vision training device for “lefties,” a unique system that “enables left-handed golfers to see the world’s top right-handed golfers perform as lefties.” With the Mirror Vision technology installed in television sets, or other visual display units, the viewer can choose the hand-dominance of the subject being televised. For instance, selecting the left-handed viewing setting in Mirror Vision means that a “lefty” golfer can watch a live telecast of golf tournaments, golf instruction programs, even golf videos from a left-handed perspective. Since the left-handed golfer sees left-handed screen action, the visual message becomes a constant, positive reinforcement of left-hand golf fundamentals, Johnson said.
