Lynnwood facility
expands to 71 units

Scriber Gardens, a Lynnwood retirement community, is now in the final stages of a 24-apartment addition.

With the completion of Phase II, the community will total 71 apartments, many over-looking the landscaped courtyards and raised garden beds, Scriber officials said.

Floor plans include alcove studios, one-bedroom units and two-bedroom units with kitchenettes; wall-to-wall carpeting; window treatments; and walk-in showers. Select apartments will feature washers and dryers, officials said.

Deposits are being taken for summer move-in, and an open house for business and industry professionals is planned for July, followed by a grand opening in early August, according to the retirement community, one of three such communities managed by Gen-care Inc., a Seattle-based property development and management company.
