Spring start set for Center 5000 in Lynnwood

Herald Business Journal Staff

MJR Development is preparing to make a big investment in Lynnwood, hoping that lower rents and open spaces will draw tenants from the south and east.

Work on the project, dubbed Center 5000, will get under way this spring and will include 205,000 square feet in three buildings that are being constructed on a wooded site on 52nd Avenue West.

The newest project coming off the drawing boards of the Lindaric Design Group, Center 5000 will feature a center courtyard with a circular fountain, and walking and hiking trails linked with the Interurban Trail System.

According to developers, there will be multiple points of entry for utility lines to ensure backups for power and communication systems.
