Litho Craft Inc.,
a Seattle printer specializing in full-color marketing materials, is moving
its operations to Lynnwood.
The company, previously
located in Seattle’s Greenwood area, is moving to a new 33,000-square-foot
plant at 21021 66th Ave. W. The facility is twice as large as the old
one.
“We ran out of room,”
said Gary Cone, Vice President of Sales, when asked about the move.
The company, purchased
in 1964 by Bill Webber when its sales were $80,000, had $8 million in
sales last year. It employs 40 people.
The company provides
materials for Voice Stream Wireless, Lucent Technologies and Red Hook
Brewery, among others.
Cone said the company
is in the process of moving, with one press at the new site and one at
the old to ensure it can continue to serve its customers. By this month,
he said, the company expects to be moved in, with two six-color Komori
presses capable of producing 15,000 sheets an hour.
