Boys & Girls Clubs benefit — Nov. 15
An Evening of Stars, a benefit for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Snohomish County, is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Nov. 15 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Lynnwood.

The evening will begin with a jazz band, complimentary champagne and cocktails followed by a silent auction and then a gourmet feast and live auction. All proceeds will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Snohomish County, which has 12,000 members in clubs across the county.

Tickets are $75 per person and can be purchased by calling 425-258-2436.

Opening of Snoqualmie Hall — Nov. 21
A grand-opening and open house for Snoqualmie Hall at Edmonds Community College will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Nov. 21 at 20000 68th Ave. W. in Lynnwood.

The new building, a joint venture between EdCC and Central Washington University, will enable students to pursue various bachelor’s and master’s degrees from CWU as well as a certificate in supply-chain management; minors in business administration, law and justice, economics, and psychology; and teacher certification.

Gov. Gary Locke will be a guest speaker. Other speakers include CWU President Jerilyn McIntyre and EdCC President Jack Oharah.

Everett WNET — Nov. 22
The Everett Women’s Network for Entrepreneurial Training is holding a workshop on “Marketing Your Business — Service and Product” from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Nov. 22 at the Northwest Women’s Business Center, 728 134th St. SW, Suite 219, in Everett.
