ACCOUNTING
Certified public accountants Angela Trindle and F. Ryan Hanggi have been promoted to manager at Everett-based Hascal, Sjoholm & Co. P.S. Certified Public Accountants. Trindle has been with the firm since 2000. She received her accounting degree from Central Washington University. Hanggi has been with the firm since 1999. He received his degree in business administration, accounting emphasis, from The Master’s College in Santa Clarita, Calif. Also, Donald Carek has been named the IT services manager. Carek is a Master Certified Network Engineer and a Certified Network Installer for Novell. And Wendy Scofield has joined Hascal, Sjoholm & Co. as staff accountant. Scofield is completing her bachelor of science degree in accounting at the Lynnwood campus of Central Washington University.

Louise B. Hanson has been promoted to business assurance senior manager for the Everett office of Moss Adams LLP. Daniel J. Fowler has been promoted to business assurance senior manager for Moss Adams LLP.

AEROSPACE
Gregg Herman has been appointed aerospace group director, customer service, with Crane Aerospace & Electronics.

ARCHITECTURAL
Dykeman, an architecture and design firm, has added Steve Lambie and Victorio Agustin as architectural interns and Mary Silva as architectural CAD drafter. Lambie, who moved to the area from Atlanta, is working on a mixed-use housing project to be located in downtown Seattle. Agustin graduated from Mapua Institute of Technology, School of Architecture and Planning, in the Philippines.

BEVERAGE
Garry Gim has joined Crown Distributing in Arlington as the Pan-Asian account manager. Gim is bilingual in Korean and English and brings 22 years in convenience store management experience to his position.

BIOTECH
John Kliewer has been promoted to corporate vice president at ICOS Corp. Previously, he served as general counsel and corporate secretary. ICOS CEO Paul Clark said the new position reflects the importance of Kliewer’s business advice.

ENGINEERING & ENVIRONMENTAL
Landau Associates has promoted several employees. In the Edmonds office, promotions include: Jerry R. Ninteman to principal, Michelle Ramos to senior geotechnical engineer, Dana Olcott to senior staff engineer, Mario Lňpez- Ramos to staff engineer, Erik Gerking to senior staff geologist, Evalyn Albright to senior staff scientist and April Wallace to staff scientist.

Michael Booth, Geoffrey Thomas and Patricia Love have formed the new environmental division at Everett-based Perteet Inc. The team specializes in environmental documentation and permit preparation, comprehensive plan updates, code updates, development review services and wetland mitigation.

FINANCIAL
The Bank of Washington has promoted three employees. Dave Johnson and Dave Turner have been promoted to vice president, and Carolyn Epstein has been promoted to assistant vice president.

Real estate loan officer Liv Perrow-Shelden has joined Banner Bank’s Alderwood branch in Lynnwood. Perrow-Shelden has more than 20 years of mortgage banking experience.

Debbie McLeod, executive vice president of retail banking for Cascade Bank, recently was honored by the Puget Sound Business Journal, which named her to its annual “40 Under 40” list, which designates 40 executives in the region under 40 years of age making their mark on the local business landscape and the broader community.

HEALTH CARE
Robert Massa was named vice president, corporate accounts, at SonoSite Inc. Previously, he served as national sales manger for the ultrasound division of GE Healthcare. Thomas Dugan has been appointed senior vice president, marketing, at SonoSite. Previously, he was president of InterVascular Inc., a corporate officer of Datascope Corp. and headed business development for United States Surgical.

Physical therapist Bryan Cummings has joined Integrated Rehabilitation Group’s Murphy’s Corner office. Cummings has worked closely with orthopaedic surgeons for the past five years specializing in conservative treatment for chronic foot, ankle and knee problems, as well as post-operative rehabilitation. Also, Tony Dao has been named hand therapy director at Integrated Rehabilitation Group.

INSURANCE
Stan and Valerie Dickison of Dickison Insurance, Edmonds, and Don Whitfield, CEO of Whitfield’s United Insurance Agencies Inc. have merged their companies.The Dickison agency was founded in 1969, and Whitfield’s was founded in 1948.

LaVonne Rasmussen, an Allstate insurance agent, recently earned the title of Personal Financial Representative. She is appointed with the registered broker-dealer Allstate Financial Services LLC.

MANUFACTURING
HCI Steel Building Systems Inc. made recent personnel changes. Bob Reed was appointed district sales manager; Jeff South, who has worked in drafting and project management, was hired as project administrator; and Larren Smoot was appointed drafting department manager.

NONPROFITS
C.C. Leonard of Lynnwood has been named donor relations manager at United Way of Snohomish County. Bunny Walters of Marysville has been named child development manager.

Jennifer Busse has joined the YMCA of Snohomish County as the teen director for the Everett family branch. In her new position, Busse will oversee the operation of the Everett teen tech center, late-night programs and after-school middle school programs.

Toni Baumann has been elected president of Habitat for Humanity of Snohomish County’s board of directors. In other board elections, Richard Emery and Kristin Wood were elected to the board of directors. Emery is a local real estate investor and remodeling contractor. Wood, a new Habitat homeowner, will serve as secretary.

PERSONNEL SERVICE
Betty Neighbors, owner of Everett-based Terra Resource Group, has been named the National Federation of Independent Business’ Small Business Champion for the Western region of the United States.

RECREATION
Kathy Blumstein of Arlington has been named general manager of The Golf Club at Echo Falls in Snohomish, overseeing the golf course operations and the restaurant.

REAL ESTATE
Mark Hikel, MILA Inc.’s national sales director, has been promoted to president of the company. Hikel joined MILA in 2000 as its executive vice president and national sales director.

Windermere Real Estate’s Monroe office recently added three sales associates. They are Kristin Clark, Mike Miller and Jim Harbeck. Windermere’s Lynnwood office also added another sales associate. Cindy Tran-Hassmann was previously a sales associate with Prudential McPherson in Lynnwood. Sales associate Tom Crowe has joined the Mukilteo office of Windermere Real Estate. Shawn O’Neill recently joined Windermere’s Mill Creek office as a sales associate. Sales associate Kathy Ross has returned to residential real estate at the Windermere Everett office.
