Center designed
for consumers, businesses

SCBJ Staff

The Everett Conference Center each year hosts hundreds of events that include meetings, banquets, receptions and consumer shows.

The facility, housed in the Everett Events Center on Hewitt Avenue, has more than 57,000 square feet of exhibit space and 12,000 square feet of ballroom and meeting space for small or large groups.

The center is designed for both consumers and businesses. The ballroom can seat 800 guests and is divisible into four sections for smaller events and breakout sessions.

The conference center also includes an area outside the ballroom that offers 3,000 square feet of space for tradeshow booths or receptions prior to the ballroom event.

If a corporation needs private meeting space, the center has an executive boardroom that has seating for 24, and can provide AV equipment and a modular table for flexible set-up. There are also two conference rooms for small groups and breakout sessions during meetings.

The Everett Conference Center has an on-site event manager to help private parties or business leaders plan their event.

A full-service caterer is available to provide customized menus for meetings and events or concession stands during consumer shows.

The City Concierge is also located in the Everett Events Center and provides information on dining, accommodations, transportation and attractions throughout Everett and Snohomish County.

The Everett Events Center, a $71.5 million multi-purpose complex, was developed by the Everett Public Facilities District.

The arena hosts a myriad of events including concerts, rodeos, ice skating and family shows.

The Everett Events Center is also home to the Everett Silvertips, a Western Hockey League franchise, and the Everett Hawks, a National Indoor Football League team.

The downtown venue also accommodates other sporting events such as basketball, volleyball, wrestling and gymnastics.

The adjacent Comcast Community Ice Rink is used for public skating, local hockey leagues and other events. The two ice sheets can be converted to form a 57,000 square foot space to host trade shows and special events.
