Pacific Northwest Aerospace Alliance
hosts Emerging Opportunities in Aerospace
in Lynnwood Feb. 9-10

The Pacific Northwest Aerospace Alliance (PNAA) will present its 9th Annual Aerospace Conference in Lynnwood Feb. 9-10, focusing on current and future economic conditions, how to access emerging industries and opportunities, and networking opportunities in the aerospace industry.
The program includes speakers from Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, EADS, G2 Solutions, Holder Aerospace, Leeham Co, Lockheed Martin, Moss Adams, and Vaupell.
Richard Aboulafia from the Teal Group will return as the featured speaker. An internationally recognized authority in the aerospace industry, he will present his annual “State of the Industry” analysis, including a detailed forecast of the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.
The conference will also include a lively panel discussion between Aboulafia, Scott Hamilton, and Michel Merluzeau that will be moderated by KING 5's Glenn Farley.
In addition to conference presentations, an exhibit area, and multiple networking opportunities; attendees may participate in the Purchasing Fair and meet one-on-one with OEMs & Tier One buyers who are directly involved in buying aerospace parts, components and assemblies.

begins meeting Feb. 9 in Everett

Providence Regional Medical Center Everett is sponsoring a new Toastmasters Club, meeting the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month beginning Feb. 9, from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in the Colby Campus back dining room at 1321 Colby Avenue, Everett.
The club, open to Providence employees and community members, hosted a demonstration meeting Jan. 19.

Snohomish County Councilman John Koster will hold another of his information forums Mar. 4 at the Everett Holiday Inn, focusing on a presentation from Evergreen Freedom Foundation founder and president Bob Williams.
He will update the audience on the national health care reform debate and related issues important to community and business leaders in Snohomish County. Location for the event is the Holiday Inn at 3105 Pine St. off I-5 Exit 193 on Pacific Avenue in Everett.
Registration and a networking breakfast will be held from 6:45-7:30 a.m., followed by the forum presentation from 7:30-8:30 a.m. Attendance for the event, and a breakfast buffet, is $25.
