OMG it hurts

The incessant tapping out of text messages on a cell phone keypad can cause repetitive strain injuries, doctors say.

But fear not: Some simple stretching exercises can ensure pain-free texting. Simply stretch one hand, send texts with the other, and drive with your knees.

Worse than NutraLoaf: As part of a new sustainability program, the Monroe Correctional Complex has put prisoners to work tending vegetable gardens.

The gardens will include an area devoted to the cultivation of lima beans, which will be fed, as punishment, to inmates who break prison rules.

That's the ecumenical spirit: Promiscuous, immodestly dressed women are to blame for earthquakes, senior Iranian cleric Hojatoleslam Kazem Sedighi says.

Sedighi's statement was not just a stern warning to Iranian women but also a show of religious unity with senior American televangelist Pat Robertson, who from time to time can be counted on to say pretty much the same thing.
