EDMONDS – If you have an entrepreneurial spirit, are about to start a new business or already run one, a small group discussion forum held in downtown Edmonds could help you.
Join entrepreneurs and those who want to start a business at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, in the Bracket Room at City Hall, 121 Fifth Ave., Edmonds. Guest presenter Andrew Ballard, a highly regarded business author, educator and public speaker, will facilitate this session to help participants learn how to better understand and use his proven approach of the “Voice of the Customer” in a powerful way to grow a business.
His book “Your Opinion Doesn't Matter” has been highly successful and he has guided training sessions to thousands of business professionals throughout the country. This will prove to be a worthwhile session.
The program, called 425 Launch and developed by the Economic Development Committee of the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce, seeks to strengthen the community by promoting and fostering entrepreneurship. By providing a forum for aspiring and existing entrepreneurs to exchange ideas and experiences, the chamber hopes to improve communication and strengthen entrepreneurship in the community.
Future discussions will take place with other entrepreneurs and will also include panel discussions about subjects of interest for entrepreneurs, including navigating business licensing issues, funding possibilities, cash flow, social networking, technology, marketing and other issues determined by the group.
