Launched in April 1998 as The Herald Business Journal, the Snohomish County Business Journal is the only countywide publication dedicated exclusively to covering the business and technology news happening in Snohomish County — and the people who make that news.

Each month, our colorful news magazine brings readers news and views they can use, keeping them informed about business trends, trade shows, economic forecasts and technology — including the Internet, computers and software.

We offer news about residential and commercial real estate, people on the move and profiles of business leaders, plus helpful news for the rapidly growing small-office and home-office business sector, as well as midsize to large companies.

The Snohomish County Business Journal also focuses on chambers of commerce, the Economic Development Council, the Port of Everett and the Navy's impact on local business.

Responding to the strong support from readers and advertisers, the staff of the journal developed this Web site and put it online in April 2001.

In August 2002, the journal, which is published by The Daily Herald Co., changed its name from The Herald Business Journal to the Snohomish County Business Journal to better reflect the community it serves.
